Susan Haber


Susan Haber is a manager, television packager, brand-developer and media consultant, specializing in representing talent, producers and unscripted alternative television and internet formats.

Susan represents hosts, experts and personalities for on-camera positions for all types of television and internet shows, including talk, game, news, dating, relationship, lifestyle, makeover, magazine, competition, reality, docuseries and sports. One of the shows that she co-packaged was “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition”, where she represented Ty Pennington, whose brand she built with the sale of his home improvement book to Hyperion Publishing and facilitating Ty’s $2,100,000.00 Sears deal, where Ty became the spokesperson for Sears and designed over 200 home goods products for their home departments. Susan has had a hand in building the careers of everybody from Mario Lopez, John Salley, Michael Irvin, Brigitte Nielson, Jose Canseco to Samantha Harris and Chelsea Handler.

Susan began her career as an agent’s assistant for three years at one of the top five talent agencies in the world, International Creative Management, where she assisted in the representation of Katie Couric, Larry King, Jay Leno, Connie Chung, Suze Orman, Ed Zwick, Marshall Hershkovitz, David Milch and Jeff Zucker. She then became an agent at the boutique agency, Rebel Entertainment Partners, where she ran their hosting and personality division for 6 years.

In 2006, Susan opened her own talent management company, Haber Entertainment and is enjoying continued success. Susan, along with RDF, sold and co-executive produced the television series, “Coolio’s Rules”, to the Oxygen Network, starring the rapper, Coolio and also sold Coolio’s hip hop cookbook to Simon and Shuster, which was released in 2009, with rave reviews. Additionally, she packaged, produced and managed the McGhee family, stars of “The Six Lil McGhees” on OWN/Discovery Fit and Health/TLC.

Susan has represented talent on several tv and internet shows, such as Nikki Boyer on the TV Guide Channel and Yahoo’s daily television review show, “Daytime In No Time”; Adrian Zmed on “Confessions of A Teenage Idol” on VH1; Jim J. Bullock on “Queer Duck: The Movie”; CNN financial correspondent, Maribel Aber; Barbara Lazaroff, partner/owner of Spago and the Wolfgang Puck franchise; Dr. Jennifer Berman from the syndicated show, “The Doctors”; Dr. Debbie Magids of “The Steve Harvey Show” and “The Today Show”; Frank Nicotero, host of the daily television review show on Yahoo called “Prime Time In No Time”, “The Game of Life” on the Hub and “Pontoon Payday” on CMT; Amy Devers, who had 3 shows on the DIY Network, was the carpenter on Trading Spaces on TLC, hosted a design show on Ovation TV, is the carpenter on OWN’S “Home Made Simple” and also hosts the landscaping makeover show in its’ fourth season, “Fix This Yard” on A&E.

Additionally, Susan has worked with Jann Carl of the syndicated entertainment news show, “Entertainment Tonight” and “Small Town, Big Deal” on RFD Network; Chef Robin Bodwin from The Food Network’s “Beverly Hills Chefs”; Susan Holmes McKagan of “Rock Wives” at E!; the host of Meredith Corporation’s daily syndicated woman’s talk show, “Better TV”, Audra Lowe; Jack Thomasson of HGTV; JD Roberto of ABC’s “How To Get The Guy” and co-host of “Better TV”; Itay Hod of TMZ, “Fuse News” and writer at “The Daily Beast”; KROQ DJ and TV host, Stryker; Chaz Bono of “Dancing With The Stars” and Michelle Visage and Willam Belli of “Ru Paul’s Drag Race”; Janice Dickinson of “The Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency”; Brigitte Nielsen of “Celebrity Rehab” on VH1; Laura Pierson, winner of season 26 of “Amazing Race” on CBS; Jake Pavelka of “The Bachelor”; the Roloff family of “Little People, Big World” on TLC; Brooke Hogan of “Hogan Knows Best” on VH1; Kesha Nichols from “Basketball Wives” on VH1; Robin Kassner and Marissa Saks from “Millionaire Matchmaker” on Bravo and also Brother JD from “Turn and Burn” on the Discovery Network.
